Secrets of the Millionaire Mind T. Harv Eker

Three ideas that fit in a minute

Three ideas about money and mindset, and one small thing to write down for each. No promises about getting rich.

Three core ideas

  1. You carry a money blueprint.

Eker says it is what you learned about money as a kid, and it works like a thermostat. Earn more than it is set for and you drift back.

  2. "I create my life" beats "life happens to me".

Your rent goes up. You can complain, or ask what you can change. The book wants you to ask the second question.

  3. Wanting money is not committing to it.

Wanting to save is a wish. Saving the same amount every payday is a commitment.

Do it today about 10 minutes

  1. Write down one money rule from your family. Say home always said money's tight: that is a blueprint.
  2. Swap one complaint for one action.
  3. Pick one small money goal and write down what you will do for it.

Who it's for. Anyone whose money habits feel like they came from somewhere else.

A mindset won't pay the bills by itself, and I won't pretend it does. Use what helps, drop what doesn't.

Not financial advice.
